Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Romans 5:3-5

Nice to meet you!

My name is Brayton McBride and this is my family! My wife Megan and I have been married for four years. We met at Southeastern University in Lakeland, where we both graduated. We just welcomed our firstborn Caden to the world in April of 2023. Caden was diagnosed in utero with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and had open heart surgery his third day on this earth and was finally able to come home after 99 days in the ICU. Being his father is the hardest thing I’ve ever done and greatest honor I’ve ever had.

The genuine heartbeat of our family is to see people come to know Jesus and develop a real relationship with him and deep connection with others. My wife and I both grew up in ministry families. My dad has been a pastor for more than 30 years and Megan’s family has served as missionaries to Brazil and other countries for the last 25+ years. We know we are called to serve Jesus wherever he leads and whatever it looks like in every season of life.
